What Happens if the Rental Period is Extended Off-Platform?
In case of extensions not made through the platform, no notification can be made to the KABIS system. In this case, the rental period is officially considered to have ended and the vehicle is considered to be used illegally. The lessee and the lessor may face serious legal problems.
What Are the Consequences of Being Excluded from the Contract?
Off-platform rentals or extensions remain outside the insurance, security and legal protection scope offered by OVORENT. All accidents, damages or legal problems that may occur in such cases belong to the lessor.
Who is responsible of printing the contract?
The owner of the vehicle is the responsible of printing the contract and making sure the renter fills all the necessary information. That being said, we encourage renters to validate and check the contract with the vehicle owner when contact details are shared.
How can I reach out to the owner?
Once the reservation has been confirmed by the owner, and it has been paid by you contact details will be exchanged by Ovorent.

What Happens if Payment is Received in Cash?
Since payments received in cash will be without invoices and documents, it is against the Tax Procedure Law. The lessor may fall into the situation of tax evasion and may face serious penalties.
Does Leasing Outside of the Official Form Pose a Security Risk?
When the rental is done independently of the platform, the General Directorate of Security's Rental Vehicle Notification System cannot track who is using it and for how long.
This can make the motorcycle owner directly responsible for a possible abuse or crime.
When I will receive the money from the renter?
Money will be sent to the owner when the reservation has been concluded via a Bank transfer.
Your Motorcycle Becomes Unregistered in Off-Platform Extensions
When the rental is extended outside of the platform, your motorcycle appears idle in the KABIS system. This can cause you to have problems with the authorities during inspections or audits.
